We now resume our regularly scheduled blog already in progress.

Hi. Yes, I do realize it has been more than a year since I typed a blog post. Things got really busy over the past 15 months. Not that busyness doesn't happen to everyone, but I really seem to attract it. Anyway, I'm back!

Several big events happened since the last post. Here's a brief rundown.

In November 2006, my sister, Juli got married to Ashley. We were all in the wedding party.

In June of 2007, my brother, Jeremy, got married to my sister's best friend, Rachel. Long story on that one. We were all once again in the wedding party.

In August, we took a really great vacation to Siesta Key, Cocoa Beach, and Orlando, Florida. We visited Kennedy Space Center, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure,and Sea World. It was fantastic! (other than the 16 hours in the van!)

In October, Carson turned 6. We made the difficult decision to take him out of school and begin homeschooling. We have our days, but overall, he's learning so much more.

In November, my nephew, Riley, was born to Jeremy and Rachel. He loves to snuggle with his Aunt Amy.

In December, Carson lost, and swallowed, his first and second teeth. He informed us that he smelled the Tooth Fairy when she visited and that she smells very much like a baked potato. He's nothing if not imaginative!

We also had a great time celebrating Christmas and New Year's Eve with family and friends.

That's the very abbreviated version of our lives since the last post. Greg still works for Drury Hotels and I still teach college courses and work with children with special needs. Our family is happy and healthy and looking forward to a new year of loving, laughing and learning together! Look for more new posts soon!
